| Beschrijving: | 100% Barbera The vines have an average of 25-30 years. The wine ages 14-18 months in new french oak barriques, 4-6 months in stainless steel tanks before being bottled. Intense ruby red colour. In the nose the scents are intens and fruity: black currants, black berries, tobacco, liquorice, toast and vanilla. In the mouth it comes soft and velvety with powerful fruit, well integrated with the wood it has been ageing in. It delivers a long finish with hints of prune, dark cherry and ripe black berries. Correggia's wines are, year after year, superb in quality and style, providing a benchmark for the territory. |
